One of our key features for blocking compromised accounts is our auto-blocking feature.

Admins can configure Avanan to automatically disable users that are detected as compromised. (They also have the ability to do this manually.) When Avanan detects a compromised user, we automatically block and disable those users. Admins are alerted and then can unblock the user and reset the password from the dashboard.

We look at a multitude of data points and features to determine this. One way we do this is through a specific AI engine. This AI engine was designed to inspect all the parameters of login events to pinpoint those done by bad actors.

The list that the AI uses is dynamic and is constantly being added to. Some of them include:

  • IP address
  • Browser
  • Browser version
  • Device
  • VPN brand
  • and much more

By inspecting all these parameters, we can ensure that malicious actors are blocked automatically.
