Avanan's research into a new Google Docs exploit was featured in an article in SC Media. The article details Avanan's findings, which show how hackers can easily take advantage of Google Docs to host and send phishing. As we wrote, it's an innovative way for attackers to bypass link scanners and evade detection from typical security. In an interview with SC Media, CEO Gil Friedrich said:

“Usually, hackers will lead their victims to a legitimate website, which means they have to hack into that site,” said Friedrich. “Here, everything is done within Google in a five-step process.”
