Administrators can now allow end users to release Suspected Phishing emails without additional approval

Organizations usually require help desk approval to release a high-confidence phishing email from quarantine.

However, to manage the load on the help desk team, organizations often accept letting end users release lower-confidence phishing emails without approval.

Avanan now includes a new workflow for emails detected as Suspected Phishing to allow just that.

To enable this workflow, open a Threat Detection policy and under Suspected Phishing workflow select Quarantine. User is alerted and allowed to restore the email

Note – this feature is being gradually deployed. It should be available in your portal during the next week.
