Avanan Anomaly Detection Engine now supports a new anomaly - end-users make use of an old, vulnerable browser.

The Anomaly Detection Engine is looking at the traffic and the protected Cloud Services configuration, and try to find anomalous or insecure behavior.

For this new anomaly the engine checks the browser version that was used by the end-user to perform operations reported the cloud service, and compares it to a list of old, insecure versions, known to be vulnerable and out of support. When an anomaly is detected the engine generates a security event, providing the user details, browser used and the source IP.
