Avanan Anomaly Detection engine now supports the detection of anomalies within a country.
Until now, the Anomaly Detection engine detected suspicious logins from different Geo Locations in a short time frame (“Superman Login”). The new enhancements also allow detecting suspicious logins within the same country. For example, login from the US east coast, and minutes after a following login from the US west coast would be impossible for humans to achieve.
This feature is disabled by default. To activate it, go to Configuration > Security App Store > Avanan Anomaly Detection and click the Select button to open the configuration dialog. Check the “Enable intra-country geo-suspicious events“ option, and click Ok.
