MSP administrators can now be notified when a customer POC expires and automatically assign a license to the expired tenant.
MSPs onboard customers on a daily basis and are required to keep track of the customer acquisition lifecycle.
Part of this task is to ensure smooth transition from POC / trial to paying customer.
At this point, it is important to make sure that tenants whose POC was a success are assigned a license. Otherwise, the customer may be paying the MSP, but is not protected by Avanan.
The Avanan MSP portal now allows administrators to determine what happens when a POC expires (i.e., when the trial period ends).
Administrators can select one of the following options or both:
- Alert MSP administrators – all administrators with permissions to this tenant will receive an email alert
- Automatically assign a license – the tenant will automatically be assigned a license, to ensure continuous protection
To do that, go to Settings > Tenant Management > When a POC Expires and select the desired actions.
Note – this feature is being deployed gradually. You should see it in your portal during the next 7 days.
